Begin Their Herever

Most legacy films, journals and apps document a life. Herever distills a life. Rather than asking your loved one to write responses or record themselves, we come to them, build a genuine connection, and professionally film them in a relaxed, familiar environment. Our main offering is the Herever Reflection Film, which we believe conveys a person's authentic essence better than a typical legacy recording would. We of course also capture their Life Story, and we do this with minimal intervention so as to not colour their recollection. Our role is to make the experience feel effortless while capturing not only what they say, but how they say it: their voice, expressions, humour, warmth, and personality.

The two films have very different purposes. Our Herever Reflection Film aims to distill a person's personality into a creative emotional piece that will be revisited time again. Because it omits all vulnerable personal details, it is safe to share publicly, and serves as a rich representation of a person when they pass.

The Life Story video on the other hand is a private family recording, and only meant for immediate family members. It meant to be a document that all future generations can access when they want to learn about or reconnect with relatives that are no longer around.

Most Herever sessions take between 4 and 5 hours. A couples session is 6 to 8 hours (3-4hrs each).

That's completely normal. We begin with casual conversation and everyday activities before the interview. Most people become comfortable within minutes.

The short answer is we don't. While we do make sure that no important details are missed, we have no way of accounting for everything that has happened in your loved one's life or if they remember things as they happened. The life story is just that: a story. 

Very little. After booking, we'll send a short intake form and schedule a planning call to discuss the day.

We accept credit card payments and e-transfers. Most people choose to pay fully up front using our easy checkout process, but we also can also accommodate a 50% deposit upon booking and the remainder upon delivery. Yes. We'll do our best to accommodate scheduling changes whenever possible.

Most projects are delivered within 4 weeks.

Yes. Travel outside our included service area may require an additional travel fee.
